Tour Overview

Day 1 – Lorne

You will be picked up in Melbourne and commence the drive out to the beautiful town of Lorne where we will spend our first night. Along the way we will spend time in Torquay, Anglesea and Aireys Inlet. You will mostly be photographing the beautiful beaches and finish the day with a sunset at Teddy’s Lighthouse.

Day 2 – Apollo Bay

We will awake well before dawn to get on site at the famous Lorne Pier. After Breakfast, we will continue to travel around Lorne shooting Erskine Falls and potentially Lower Kalimna Falls depending on the weather. As photographers it is important we support each other, so we will pay a visit to Will Dielenberg’s gallery for some inspiration.  The afternoon could see us looking for Koalas in Kennett River. As we head for our accommodation in Apollo Bay you will shoot sunset at Cape Otway Lighthouse, an amazing photo if the conditions are right.

Day 3 – Port Campbell

We will be on the road early to ensure we get the most out of the Otways. Hear the road of falling droplets pounding into the waters below at spectacular waterfalls and cascades in the narrow valleys of the Otway Ranges and surrounding Great Ocean Road region. Some locations you can expect to shoot are Hopetoun Falls, Beauchamp Falls, Redwood Forrest, Triplet Falls, and Otway Treetop.

If that wasnt great enough, you will end the day shooting sunset at the two apostles before reaching our accommodation in Port Campbell

Another early start will see us witness the rugged splendour of the famous 12 apostles, magnificent rock stacks that rise up majestically from the Southern Ocean on Victoria’s dramatic coastline. We will spend the rest of the day shooting other well-known locations such as Gibsons Steps, Loch Ard Gorge, The Razorback, Tom and Eva, The Bakers Oven, London Arch and the Bay of Islands. These locations all differ depending on the tide and light but Kieran will do his best to ensure you get a great day of shooting in.
